I love making personalized favors boxes for parties and various occasions.
They are so easy to make not to mention very cost effective if you make it with recycled materials.
I did not use recycled materials for the ones in the photos but using paper grocery bags in place of cardstock is a favorite of mine.
Both boxes in this set require only 1 piece assembly so the only other thing you need is a little piece of string or ribbon.
You can stuff them with not so fancy candy and it will still stand to impress.

Tip of assembling the butterfly favors box
I’m not a big fan of the scoring tools with the Cricut. I like to score my cardstock by hand.
To do this, I just use a ruler and a straight edge like this scraper or a credit card.
I also like prefer using a fresh light grip mat for this design. It is more intricate and therefore easier to get off and clean up after with the blue mat.
A letter sized piece of cardstock can make a box that is a little less than 3 inches wide.
