I made this castle centerpiece using used shipping boxes and some cardstock.
It even had a moat of paper flowers!
The template cut file set is included in my resource library for free. You will have to make some adjustments to it depending on the size of your boxes.
Materials for DIY Princess Castle
3 Boxes – I used a shipping box and 2 packaging boxes that came with it. Cereal boxes work great too.
Cardstock – You will need 9 12×12 sheets of the same color to make this 12 by 24 inch castle.

Cutting Machine – Its not absolutely necessary but I would highly recommend it. I use a Cricut.

Tutorial for DIY Prince Castle
Step 1: Tape all the boxes shut
Step 2: Measure the heights of each box and stretch the template so the box will be covered by the cardstock “wall”. I split one piece in half and covered the middle with scrap leftover cardstock.
Step 3: Line the top of each box with scrap cardstock.
Step 4: Glue each layer on top of each other
Step 5: Glue optional door/window/horses. etc.
All my Rolled Paper Flowers are available here in case you would like to make a moat. It’s technically a moat within the castle but who is really paying attention!
