Simple Paper Flowers Set

I wanted to add to my assortment of paper flowers but wanted a slightly different type of flower. I wanted the outer petals to be better aligned.

So I decided the best way to do that was to break up the single roll into multiple rolls.

I quite like my new design and wanted to share it with everyone. I’ve included 9 varietals in this design pack.

My Favorite Materials for Paper Flowers

Cardstock – Not all cardstock is created equal. Some of them have white cores and doesn’t look good with intricate designs or rolled flowers.

Glue – I like to use either a polymer based glue or a hot glue gun:

Cutting Machine – I use a Cricut. Check out my recommendations for Cricut machines and accessories for beginners for more info.

Quick Tutorial on How to Assemble Semi-Rolled Paper Flower

Step 1: Cut your template pieces.

Step 2: Glue the tabs together and curl the petals. I like curling some of the inner layer inwards while curling the outer layer outwards.

Step 3: Assemble each layer onto the base circle.

Step 4: Do the same with the inner rolled flower. I did not include an image because it differs for each flower. For some of the longer petal flowers, I thought it looks better with just a dot.
