Christmas is probably my favorite holiday to decorate and no decorating effort is complete without Christmas lights.
I remember when I was a kid, we would get the super cheap sets of Christmas light strings from I don’t know where and it was the type where if one of the lights went out, then the whole string would not work.
Someone designing those lights didn’t take a basic course in electronics.
They have come a long way now and are most Christmas lights we have are LEDs. Not only do they last forever, but they are also energy efficient.
I frequently find myself adding Christmas light clipart to other Christmas craft projects so I made this set of light string and bulb designs so I have something readily available for a last-minute card design or craft to entertain the kids.
These free Christmas light bulb SVG silhouettes images are available in my free resource library. (see link in menu bar)
Some ideas for Christmas light cut out crafts
I like to use my Cricut cutting machine whenever possible and which there’s not a whole lot of cutting with actual Christmas lights, there are endless possibilities with paper and other craft materials.
For one, Christmas light string clipart doesn’t require batteries or any power source. You can make a nice window display or even a banner to line the fireplace in case a power source is not readily available.
I’m also huge on making my own greeting cards. Nothing adds more of a holiday feel than a string of Christmas lights.
