I made these boy robot birthday printable designs and cake decorations and used them with Transformer themed party decor.
It turned out to be a huge hit. He not only loved how festive everything was, but it was also a great cake decorating project that we did together.
I love supplementing handmade decorations with store-bought party supplies. Kids these days are so influenced by all the branded characters and TV shows it is hard to throw a party without a branded theme.
The problem with the store-bought items is they are not good quality and are limited in their design. With a set of 9 designs, I managed to make all of this decor and decorate the cake!
This 9 piece decor set of printables and cut file templates are available for FREE in my resource library. Sign up for my templates and tutorials newsletter and get access to this along with tons of other freebies:
Robot Cake Decorations
I used fondant for most of this cake. The cake topper is made from cardstock. I thought it would look better and more crisp with paper as opposed to fondant.
Vinyl Stickers on Favors Bags
I made these vinyl stickers for the favors bags with my Cricut. Detailed instructions on how to make this vinyl sticker set are here.
Happy Birthday Banner
This was a super easy banner made with just cardstock. I layered gray cardstock over red cardstock which went well with the rest of the colors.
Vinyl Cookie Stickers
I originally was going to make royal icing sugar cookies and made the design as a stencil. I got lazy and ended up buying these shrink wrapped cookies and just put a vinyl sticker on top.
It wasn’t too bad making all of these and I thought it added a nice personal touch to the event.
Let me know how these designs work out for you!
