Different Methods for Making the Family Name Sign

There are many ways to present your family name sign. I’ve listed a few here from easiest to slightly more complex.

    Print and Paint

If paint is your medium of choice, then there’s a simple way to copy your template onto your canvas.

Simply print your image, then color in the back with a pencil and trace over the front of the image onto the canvas. The pencil backing acts as a carbon copy.

    Pallet Signs

The above method works great for pallet signs as well. I’m not a huge fan of paint and like to stick to chalk markers. Amazon has a great selection of pallet signs.

    Vinyl Cutouts

This is how I made mine below. I have a cutting machine which made things a little easier but it’s a simple enough design to do it by hand. Amazon also has a great selection of vinyl.
